Since 1970 I have supervised M.A. and Ph.D. research students from the University of Nairobi and several British and American Universities. I have also lectured widely in Kenya, South Africa, Britain, U.S.A. and Canada. Finally, I have also acted as an External Examiner in History in East, Central, South and West African Universities.
